Truth to Cling To Through COVID-19 and Everyday

Truth to Cling To Through COVID-19 and Everyday

We’ve found ourselves in a different world lately. Times are still strange and unknown. But He is unshakeable, unchanging, and the solid rock on which we stand. And during these days when we feel a little wobbly, maybe slightly wondering, maybe a little doubting, perhaps even somewhat fearful… we can cling to these verses. Straight from scripture. Straight truth. Straight to our hearts and KNOW that He is God. And He’s got us. These are some of our favorite verses we’ve put into a list for you. Print them out, post them up, and cling to His truth with all you’ve got friends.

Proverbs 31:10-30

An excellent wife who can find?
She is far more precious than jewels.

11 The heart of her husband trusts in her,
and he will have no lack of gain.

12 She does him good, and not harm,
all the days of her life…

15 She rises while it is yet night
and provides food for her household
    and portions for her maidens…

17 She dresses herself with strength
    and makes her arms strong.

18 She perceives that her merchandise is profitable.
Her lamp does not go out at night.

19 She puts her hands to the distaff,
and her hands hold the spindle.

20 She opens her hand to the poor
and reaches out her hands to the needy…

Strength and dignity are her clothing,
and she laughs at the time to come.

26 She opens her mouth with wisdom,
and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue.

27 She looks well to the ways of her household
and does not eat the bread of idleness.

28 Her children rise up and call her blessed;
her husband also, and he praises her:

29 “Many women have done excellently,
    but you surpass them all.”

30 Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain,
but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.

 Psalm 91:1-7

He who dwells in the shelter of the Most Highwill abide in the shadow of the Almighty.I will say[a] to the Lord, “My refuge and my fortress,my God, in whom I trust.” For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowlerand from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his pinions, and under his wings you will find refuge;his faithfulness is a shield and buckler. You will not fear the terror of the night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in darkness, nor the destruction that wastes at noonday. A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you.

Philippians 4:8

Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.
